Questions & answers

Chattar FAQs.

What is a mandir chattar?
A chattar is a ceremonial canopy placed above the deity in a home mandir or temple — a mark of reverence symbolising shelter and honour over the divine. It can be used in any home pooja room or at a temple altar.
Which variation is right for my mandir?
Velvet Floral is the warmest and most traditional — great for everyday mandirs. Silk Brocade suits lighter or marble mandirs. Zardozi is best for festival mandirs or occasions where grandeur matters. WhatsApp us a photo of your space and we'll suggest the right fit.
Can I customise the colour?
Yes — all three chattar variations can be made in maroon-gold, navy-gold, green-gold, pink-gold, ivory-gold or any custom colour combination. Custom colour orders take 10–14 working days for Velvet Floral and Silk Brocade, and 14–21 working days for Zardozi.
How do I hang the chattar?
Every chattar comes with a gold-tone hanging chain and hook. Simply fix a small nail or hook above your mandir and hang the chain — no tools or special fittings needed.
Do you ship outside India?
Yes — we ship pan-India and internationally to the UK, UAE, Canada, USA and Australia. WhatsApp us with your address and we will confirm rates and timelines.
